Business Profile : Patrick Flanagan

Patrick is an experienced business strategy and financing specialist, having worked across primary, secondary and tertiary sectors internationally.

Patrick attained a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne in 1987, followed by his post graduate PY with the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Australia) in 1989.

Between 1987 and 1996 Patrick worked as a Chartered Accountant with the firms Arthur Young and Arthur Andersen, in various postings in Melbourne, London and Chicago.  During this time he specialized in Corporate Reconstruction and Business Consulting services.

Between 1996 and 2000 Patrick worked as a Senior Manager for the Strategic Vision group of KPMG’s Melbourne Office, providing business and strategy advice to a range of publicly listed and private companies in Australia and the Asia Pacific region.

In 2001 Patrick joined BTHCCL in London as a Director with primary responsibility for strategic planning and the business activities of this private health care group which had operations across the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

In 2006 Patrick returned to Australia and joined the Quantum Group, providing specialist finance and business investment advice to a group of private clients.
